Day 24 - May 30, 2012

Day 24 - May 30, 2012

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

There are actually two parts to this prayer.  The first is that we would absolutely know the will of God and the second is that we have the courage to do it.

I think for most people the first part is infinitely more difficult than the second.  Because if God came to you and told you what to do, you would have no choice but to follow.  You might not like doing it – but what choice do you have?  He’s God.  People throughout time have gone boldly to their death because they were confident they were following the will of God.

I can’t think of anything more glorious in life than to be dead-center in the will of God – even if that life is difficult.  It sure beats being outside of the will of God – even if that life is easy.

His will is found in scripture and in prayer.

Blessings,

Pastor David
