Deaf Signing Worship

On February 3rd, Christ Lutheran Vail will begin American Sign Language (ASL) signing for deaf worshipers. Mary Versluis is finishing her degree in ASL interpreting and will sign the entire service. There are only a few churches in Tucson that offer signing and none on the east side. While this opportunity is being advertised within the deaf community, if you know of someone that is deaf, please invite them. When the deaf community shows up, please give them a warm smile and be understanding of their needs. You might want to direct them to Mary if they are a first-time visitor. We are excited for the opportunity to share God's love in this manner!
