Junior High Confirmation is a 3-year series usually beginning in the Sixth Grade. The class meets throughout the school year (September through May) on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30PM. Classes that conflict with holiday schedules are skipped - so check the church calendar. A fall retreat is also held at the beginning of the school year.
The culmination of Junior High occurs when the junior high youth (historically called the Confirmand) professes the Christian faith that he or she has learned from the classes. This usually occurs at the Confirmation ceremony in September of the next school year.
The confirmation class is taught by Pastor David Hook.
The evening usually contains: Games, Snacks, Bible Study, Prayer and Service.
Check the Church Calendar for dates.
