SECOND SERVICE ON SUNDAYS

Did you know that we will be starting a second Sunday service on September 15 at our new CLV site? Are you interested in attending the 11:00 a.m. service at the new site? Would you like to help design and implement it? If you would like to provide input, please join us for a short meeting after church on Sunday, June 2nd from 10:15 - 10:45 at Cienega H.S. TIME FOR SALCA!!

All elementary and junior high students are invited to come to a fun week of camp! SALCA (Southern Arizona Lutheran Camping Association) will be having 3 camps this year. The first two sessions will be June 2-7th at the Triangle Y Ranch camp. Each camp will have separate activities and be together for meals, all evening camp activities, and campfire. We offer a variety of activities and the theme this year is “I Have Heard it Said… But I Say…” based on Matthew 5-7. Cost is $240 for 5 days of camp and scholarships are available! We want all children to be able to experience this wonderful opportunity! The last session is for high school and college age youth through age 20. This session is July 26-28 and will be at Pine Canyon in the Chiricahua’s! Cost for high school camp is $115/student. PICTURE DAY IS COMING SOON!

On Sunday, May 12th our congregation will be having another Picture Day. We are striving to take the pictures of everyone who attends our church. These pictures are put into the Photo Album located at the back of the church. This album is kept for people to browse through so they can learn the names of everyone. We are missing a number of people and some families may need to have their picture up-dated. If you are not able to make it that day, Neva is able to take your picture any Sunday at the back of the Church. Thank you for helping to make this mission a success!!
